Bd6 and an one of possible continuation: 19. Bd6 Bf6 20. Bxe7 Bf6+ 21. Kf2 Kxe7 22. d4 with advantage of white... It seems - no deep analysis anyway... Just quick look. |

Imagine how would you feel if you politely asked for some help from an 1800-player, and he would tell you: "haha, your game is full of blunders, nothing to analyze" And now, about the game: - 4...g5, i believe, is unnecesary, since the f4 pawn is already defended by the queen. Better was to develop pieces. But I could be wrong, I'm no theory expert on this opening. - 7...f6 is an outright blunder. Instead, 7...Bd6 develops a piece, shuts down the dangerous c4-f7 diagonal, and attacks the knight. 8.Qe2 is met by 8...Ne7, and black is ready to castle with a reasonable position. - After white's correct reply 8.Qe2!, black is more or less lost. - White keeps the much better position until the horrific blunder 14.Bxf4??, not noticing that b2 needs defending. What was wrong with the simple 14.Nc3 ? - Now black is winning, but white could try 15.Nc3 Bxa1 (15...Bxc3? 16.Rb1 and white is doing fine) 16.Nb5, threatening a fork on c7. Black can still maintain advantage with accurate play, but his task is harder than in the game. - Black made two inaccuracies on moves 17 and 18 - in both cases, ...Nf8 was better, both defending the g4-pawn, and preparing to defend e7 once more with Ng6. - Now suddenly white is better again, as seen from the line given above by loreta - but he missed that chance with 19.d6? - 21.Be6?? is the final blunder, but white's position was much worse anyway. |

It's nice to see some people take the time to critisize it with an understanding that they were once weak players. Maybe we could have a forum just for analysis since we have lost 2 other rooms. There are some really great analyzers such as caldezar and others. Comments such as Indiana-jays are uncalled for. Keep a good outlook geegel,for his type will soon find other playgrounds. Mike |

" Not really. 9.d6 fxe5 (else Nf7 wins) 10.dxe7 Bxe7 11.Qxe5 and white will at least win a pawn due to the dual attack on h8 and c7. But yes, that would have been way better than 8...fxe5? as in the game. And yes, taking d5 with the bishop was better, have to admit that. |

Okay, okay, I'm sorry for that. I was not trying to do a bad thing against anyone. And I'm not a kind of western people that are very kind with what they say (even mostly it doesn't match up with their real "action"). I opened the game and tried to make a good analysis, but I don't know what to do. Many said that I was a good teacher. I tried to imagine what will be beneficial for geegel from my analysis. What I could think of, the analysis should not on the moves in the game, but on the way how he plays in general. But unfortunately I needed more games to find out about the way he plays in order to give a meaningfull analysis... :( |

Message: the reason i put up this game for display was the fact that this probably the fiercest and most chaotic game i have ever played with a large number of traps and ... maybe blunders.The game really doesn't suit my style i usually prefer a Ruy Lopez or najdorf with the white, or sicilian with the black,the opening was alencon 's call,i know i'm not a very good player and i really appreciate the analisys and maybe someday i'll give something more challenging to analise :) Best regards, George |
