 Subject: chessbase.com's online databaseMessage: I'm having problems with the chessbase online database. I reach the database page but the java window fails to load. I messaged cb but they weren't much help. Any ideas to fix it? I use IE6. www.chesslive.de/ www.chessbase.com |

Message: I moved to "XP" a while back and discovered many JAVA applets failed to load (consequence of the litigation action against Microsoft where they had to open their code up to competition etc). I searched for a "Sun/Java" site and downloaded the latest version of Java (virtual Window in MS speak) and have had no problem since, Give it a try... and good luck :-) |

It is faster loading, and it is a bit more 'elite' than chessbase. That means, only higher rated games. |
