Tho got to enjoy being destroyed utterly a couple times vs IM Brooks & GM Kopec, but don't know how many times by IM Valvo at same time control. Who seemed probably the strongest blitz player I've ever known I think. Did have a win vs Electric Blue this week at FCIS finally after 2 losses. Death to Chessboxes !) , tho both are Amer. IM's I believe. I havn't seen nor heard of a Chess game by either IM Weinstein in years and can only wonder if they still play? Last I heard of Raymond he was not even speaking to Chess players at all. Read that somewhere. Apparently someone had tried to approach him to speak about his prior Chess play & accomplishments. Apparently could still speak enough to tell the staff to keep the guy away from him, after having sat & listened but refusing to speak. Have no idea what degree of veracity that report had or had not. Perhaps would be more suited to Pres of FIDE, than USCF, sounds like ?! 8-[ |

Sloan claims that altho he talked for 30 minutes,Weinstein neither answered him,or really was aware of him.
