Subject: WCH Match (contd)
Message: I see that Leko is in the lead now. 2+ 7= 1- and needs 2 points to clinch the title. Kramnik HAS to play to win a game, which must put him under a lot of pressure. It's starting to hot up a bit. Vlad had good chances in the last (drawn) game but couldn't convert to the full point.

Message: . . . in game 11. Kramnik has two goes as white to claw his way back into the match.

Message: I don't even want to talk about it. Or else I'll get banned from the forums. With such WCh games I start to think about quiting chess. Damn it. Well, at least about stopping following tournaments and matches. Ah, the depression...

Effectively a draw by repetition by move 18 (players agreed to draw at 17)!! YUCK!!

Message: The following webpage discusses the "Chicken Factor," a means of measuring how pathetic some quick draws are, like some of those at the WCh. Several of the games score quite high.
