Message: ...Fire in the sky... Yeah!
But how about Black Sabbath??
Elton John's "Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting" is a good Blitz number, too, as is the Stones' "Paint it Black" and "Brown Sugar". You reckon there's a pattern emerging here??
Cheers,
Ion

Message: ...is bound to be obscure, Balada by Ciprian Porumbescu. It's just long enough for a decent blitz game. For those who love violin concertos, this will tickle your fancy.

Message: ... I had forgotten Hendrix (How could I???), but nearly included Steppenwolf numbers (Magic Carpet Ride is a longtime favorite). How about Led Zep's "When the Levee Breaks" for a pawn storm against the King? Or Jethro Tull's "Locomotive Breath"? Or Grace Slick pounding out "White Rabbit"? Or Velvet Underground: "I'm Waiting for my Man" or, better yet, "Venus in Furs". I rather think the latter is best for those positional squeezes rather than tactical melees - the moves are coming fast, but events are developing a little more slowly...

5/18/2006 13:15:41 play online chess | But wait, there's more! ...
Message: The Walker Brothers' "Time" ... and the last couple of numbers on Patti Smith's "Easter" album ought to quicken the pulses (can't remember their titles ... something about the 25th floor?) ...
"Working on the Road" followed by "50,000 Miles Beneath My Brain" by Ten Years After for some lighthearted Blitz...
Cheers,
Ion

Message: I should put in the "Greatest hits" CD of Queen when analyzing one of my current games. Unfortunately Freddy M. doesnt tell anything about the colour in his song "Killer Queen", so I am still unsure about the result, but I know:
"To avoid complications she never kept the same adress" - which tells me that I should think about Queen moves in first priority.
Another game may soon be supported by "We will double-rook you", and then I hope for the last track on this CD. Guess what!

I'm surprised no one's yet put System of a Down up here. Or should that be reserved for bullet

Dreaming, and Revenga, to name a few)
