I understand what Mensa is about and all that. I'd be pretty interested to see how many there are about though. I joined Mensa because I enjoy logical stuff and puzzles (chess too) and figured I should try the exam as a personal challenge. I thought perhaps quite a few other people might follow the same mode of thought. I'd agree that IQ might not have such a massive effect on your chess ability as some might think but being someone who enjoys that sort of thing might be more inclined to try and join. Get me? |
