Subject: Freedom!
Message: I was thinking, wouldn't it have been great for America if a
super power had freed us from the British? We wouldn't
have had to fight the revolutionary war for independence
and, assuming the super power was a democracy, they
could have written up a constitution for us!

Message: ...but at what cost?
Strange accents and driving on the right!
Now, do any of you honestly think it was worth it? :-/

Message: but, wouldn't have been better if the French had invaded,
defeated the French, and written a democratic constitution
for us? The instead of celebrating the 4th of July, would
could celebrate French liberation day!

Message: A patriot supports his country, but not necessarily its policies. A militarist supports his country's policies for military action, regardless of the long-term consequences of that action.
Militarists are not necessarily patriots.

Message: Doubtlessly, kingofpawns is reffering to Japan. I, too, agree that they should be allowed to write their own constitution at this point. Whom here agrees?
