 Subject: Prized TournmentsMessage: Once it's time for short survey, how about tournments where winners receive any kind of prize. Subscritptions would cost some money, but winners would get any kind of reward (a chess board or airline tickets or membership discount, anything that could be sent to the winners). |

Playing for the sheer thrill of playing chess, not for winning prizes or money or even membership. I don't think everything in life has to have a monetary value put on it. Just my thoughts on the matter :) Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're an astronaut on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham!, you just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man." pswolfie |
