Like Kramniks 100+ game undefeated streak which he carried into the kramnik v. kasparov match and left the match upholding the streak.. really amazing |

I am not trying to promote myself. People only assume that because of me suddenly popping up onto the top of the ELO standings. Just forget about the ELO rating. The ELO rankings will converge to the proper values over time and my lead will diminish. However it's not absurd for me to be ranked #1. I think there are a few people between which you could safely choose a #1 in playing strength and I would be among them. That was promoting myself. But that was the only time and that is to set aside the absurd notion that I am some patzer who simply manipulated his way to the #1 spot. And I don't think I can get banned for posting a private message that I composed.. but I could be wrong but I hope I'm not. There's really only one person I know of that has a problem with me and that's Tonlesu and the way he voices it makes him look utterly ridiculous. |

Sir you must be the only chess player on the planet who doesn't know Fischer is Jewish. Sir you are one of the elite here at gameknot---2400 plus GK rating; the elo leader of a great chess site. You are playing over a hundred games and winning them all. You are actively involved in five other chess sites. You are all over the forums telling us how great you are. Is it really asking too much to expect a man with your credentials to have a modicum of knowledge about the greats of chess. Its not like there is a dearth of info on Fischer. There are more books on Fischer now than when he was playing. It's hard to pick up a chess magazine and not read an article about Fischer. Go to google and punch in Bobby Fischer and see how many hits you get. Dont misunderstand me, its not just Fischer---Its chess period. Sir you know as much about chess as I know about rocket science. |

Don't assume I don't know a lot about other aspects of chess history because I didn't know one little fact. For example I know all about Fischer's actual career but I couldn't tell you what he ate for breakfast the morning of his first game with Spassky because that's just not important. |
